About Kierra
Kierra is a Painter and Illustrator born in Chicago, IL and raised in Wisconsin. In 2020 she graduated from the University of Wisconsin River Falls with a Fine Arts degree in Painting and Illustration. From a very early age she had shown a love for art and creating, always loving to work with her hands. Throughout her early education and college years she had continually pursued her desire to grow as an artist, taking every art class available to her. Throughout Kierra's academic career, she developed an interest in many fields within the art industry working with a variety of projects in different mediums. Some of these interests include logo and web design, interior design, muralist and street art, children’s book illustration, custom art framing, and teaching art to others.
After graduating with her degree, she began an unexpected, yet incredibly fulling role as an education guide at the River Falls Public Montessori Elementary School. While in this role Kierra had the honor of teaching general education and creative learning to young students between ages 4 through 11. This experience taught her so much patience and understanding new perspectives in educating, learning, and creative thinking. After spending three years with the River Falls School District, she made the bittersweet decision to change career paths and put all her focus into her creative career as an artist.
Since 2023, Kierra began a new journey and relocated to Fort Myers, FL to work as an Art Consultant. In addition to painting and drawing, she has had the privilege of helping clients through the process of choosing artwork to decorate their homes. Being able to work closely with other artists from around the world, interiors designers, and art galleries in this role has opened a new door of inspiration in her creative process.
Kierra often discovers inspiration in her life experiences and the people around her as they impact her life in beautiful ways. She always has the enthusiasm to explore creative possibilities and enjoys challenging herself to get outside of her comfort zone. This allows her passion for art to be a constant source of growth and excitement.
