About The Artist
Kierra is a Painter and Illustrator born in Chicago, IL and raised in Wisconsin. In 2020, she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Painting and Illustration from University of Wisconsin–River Falls. Throughout her academic and professional career, she has cultivated a diverse range of interests within the art industry, including logo and web design, interior design, mural and street art, children’s book illustration, custom art framing, and art education.
Following graduation, Kierra began working as an Education Guide at The River Falls Public Montessori Elementary, where she taught general education and creative learning to students ages 4 through 11. Her time in education deepened her appreciation for creative thinking, patience, and the importance of encouraging artistic expression in young learners. After three years with the River Falls School District, she made the decision to fully focus on her professional career as an artist.
In 2023, Kierra relocated to Fort Myers, FL to work as an Art Consultant and Gallery Manager for a custom framing and fine art gallery. In this role, she guided clients in selecting artwork for their homes while collaborating closely with artists, interior designers, and galleries from around the world. These experiences broadened her artistic perspective and continue to influence her evolving creative process.
Today, Kierra works as a full-time artist, creating original paintings, commissioned works, and fine art prints. Drawing inspiration from personal experiences and the people around her, her work reflects a passion for exploration, growth, and creative expression. She continually challenges herself to step beyond her comfort zone, embracing new ideas and techniques that keep her artistic journey both exciting and rewarding.
